This book is an excellent resource for my job! I have been trying to research on what types of seams and tools a farm wife might have used from 1900-1918. There is little information available so, I do not know if I misinterpret when I sew before visitors at our farm. This book gives a list of what a home seamstress should have to be successful: eureka! I'm seriously contemplating using the book as a manual and constructing the waist and skirt.
